Deceit!

She waits.
She sleeps.
She watches others live their lives.
But does not live her own.
She does everything but eat.
Her condition is fatal.
She has lost hope in herself.
And in everything around her.

She is waiting upon a saviour.
Who will never arrive.
She spends her time alone.
In denial about herself.
And who she has become.

She feels unwanted.
And as if, she is not there.
Maybe she’s not.
No-one will ever know.
Because she is convinced she is nobody.
So much so,
That others have started to believe it themselves.

Her parents have tried everything.
Rehab, more freedom,
Counselling, new clothes,
New phones.
But nothing works.
She is inconspicuously selfish.
And does not accept assistance.

She feels she’s contaminated her life.
Staining her youth.
Not allowing others in.
Instead,
Being hesitant.
Being negative.
Being un-worthy.

This is the life.
She lives everyday.
Her own world.
The world,
Through the eyes of deceit!
